At M Tactical LLC, we offer expert Pin and Weld services to permanently attach a muzzle device (such as a flash hider, compensator, or muzzle brake) to your firearm barrel in compliance with legal regulations. This process is typically required for firearms with a barrel length of 16 inches or greater when a suppressor or muzzle device is used to ensure that the overall length meets legal requirements (e.g., for AR-15 style rifles under the National Firearms Act).
Pin and weld gunsmithing is a method of permanently attaching a muzzle device to a firearm barrel to ensure it remains fixed in place. The process involves:
Pinning: A steel pin is drilled through the muzzle device and the barrel.

Once a pin and weld is complete, the gas block and barrel nut cannot be installed. Make sure they are included if you intend to have them.
All muzzle devices will be timed to a right hand position unless specified
To check OAL, use the following formulaBarrel Length + Muzzle Device Length - 0.625” = OAL

Customers are liable for ensuring barrel and muzzle devices are in compliance with 16” OAL rule. If the barrel and muzzle device do not meet 16” OAL, your product will NOT be serviced and shipped back to you at your expense
